Welcome to MUJ HACKS 4.0

Hackathons organized by MUJ ACM Student Chapter are known to be best in class; not only in the state of Rajasthan, but also in all of Northern India. It provides a launching base for many budding artists to go forward with their skills in design, development and pitching. Contestants also get a chance to take up new skills and grow as an individual and professional. With a plethora of problem statements, one is never underwhelmed with the scale of the event. And with that, we present to you, MUJ Hacks 4.0 on 2nd February, 2020. Coders coming together, for 24 hours to create something extraordinary; contributing to the culture and vision of ACM.

MUJ ACM Student Chapter

One of India's Finest ACM Student Chapters

ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery founded in New York on September 15, 1947, is the world’s largest educational and scientific society connecting and convening the researchers, educators and professionals to apportion resources, inspire discourse and scrutinize and address the field’s challenges.
ACM’s reach extends to every part of the globe, with more than half of its 100,000 members residing outside the U.S.
Manipal University Jaipur ACM Chapter was officially chartered by ACM's Chief Operating Officer on December 14, 2015.
MUJ ACM Student Chapter is the largest student body at Manipal University Jaipur, catering to the world of computer programming by organizing various skill building classes and events throughout the year so that the students can learn and grow in their respective fields. We are the pioneers in building a sustainable coding culture at Manipal University Jaipur.

With more than 500 members in the session of 2018-2019, it was easily the biggest technical club in the University, and it stood up to those hopes with its homegrown events. This year as well, more than 500 students are proud members of the chapter that is still going strong under strong leadership, year after year.

A: Any undergraduate who likes to innovate can apply.
A:A team must consist of at least 2 members and at most 4 members.
A:The last date to apply is 14th January 2020.
A:You need to carry your college ID Card, laptop, phone, chargers, any sleeping equipment you might want and a geeky t-shirt!
A:No. The Hackathon is open. You can use any technology to build your hacks.
A:Yes. Each team member will be provided with accommodation and food during the Hackathon. You don't need to pay a single penny. That's on us.
A:Yes you do get a certificate if you are qualified after the initial shortlisting.
A:No. In the interest of fairness, students should not be working on their projects before the hackathon begins and we do not allow participants to work on pre-existing projects. However, you can familiarize yourself with all the tools and technologies you intend to use beforehand

This was my first ever Hackathon. I didn't even know what Hackathon was. ACM told me about it and for a first timer - I tried all the phases of a Hackathon like the designing, presentation, thinking for ideas and all. It was very well organized and helpful for those who needed to the procedure. Seniors were there to tell how and what exactly has to be done at every stage of it. The arrangements for the entire event were made well - the mattresses and food and all. So all in all a good event experience for something that is going to be important in the future

It was my first hackathon ever and I didn't even know how and what to begin with! But as soon as the problem statement came in my team and My mind just exploded with various ideas on how we can solve the issues at hand! We were all motivated and ready to tackle the challenge but were worried on how we'll make it happen. But all the volunteers helped us with whatever they can and our amazing seniors helped us further our project to unfathomable levels! I learned so much more and also narrowed down on my weak spots which I feel will help be become a better coder and a better person in the near future. I congratulate and applaud the amazing event MUJ Hacks 3.0 and would certainly join again in the next version ;)
